Comrade's review of my book

Dear Kavimathi              

I have gone through your book " KARUPPUCHATTAIYUM KATHIKKAMBUKALUM"

I am very sorry to  accept the bitter fact that I have never gone through  many Thamizh Novels. If I am correct, I had completed only one book written by Rajagopaalachri about Mahabharatham at my very earlier stage and I could not recollect as to why I had gone through  the book and another one by Dr MU VA ." Karithundu" 

 

I am wondering how I have completed your book !  Is it because you are my relative or to know about you as an interested person in the Konaadu Sangam. I think both them might have been the reason by which  I should have been motivated to read the book. 

 

I am really impressed by  the subject you have taken for witting the way in which you have  narrated the  incidents and the language is very casual and familiar to you  on your way and almost like a water fall without any stoppage. After completion of the book, I have come to a conclusion that you are very capable and talented. My hearty congratulations and wish you a bright future  in both the social and literature  world.  Keep it up.

 

I am ashamed of the fact that I had been ignorant of our THAMIZH language and I have wasted all my life time  in running  after English for my livelihood and I find it very difficult to spare my time for our own language. All my worthy and valuable life time had been taken over by my job as I wanted myself to be  perfect  and at par with the performance of the other  higher caste brothers .

 

With one request I would like to conclude my appreciations for you- please  try to educate our youngsters and try to have more youngsters in the Sangam. Please start very meeting with one " Thirukural " and make it is mandatory for our school going children. English is important for their livelihood and Thamizh is also equally important to preserve their identity in future. As was rightly observed by our leader Baabashib Ambedlar  education with excellence is only the way out for all of us to come out of caste stigma painted on us.
